Scaussie Plumbing & Gas Terms of Service
This document outlines the terms and conditions for plumbing & gas services provided by Scaussie Plumbing & Gas. Please read carefully before agreeing to any service.

1. Service Scope
We provide plumbing and gas services to residential and commercial customers in accordance with Australian standards, codes and regulations.
2. Booking Policy
- Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website.
- Once a booking is confirmed, it becomes subject to availability and site access.
- We strive to provide services at scheduled times, but delays may occur. We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control.
- A minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.
- Emergency call-outs may attract additional charges.
3. Quotations
- All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
- Quotes are based on information provided at the time; variations in scope or site conditions may result in revised pricing.
- Quotes are based on visual inspections and may not account for unforeseen issues.
- Acceptance of a quote constitutes agreement to these Terms of Service.
4. Payment Terms
- Full payment is due upon completion of the job unless prior written arrangements have been made.
- A deposit may be required for larger jobs.
- Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, credit/debit card and EFTPOS.
- Late payments may incur interest and/or recovery fees in accordance with WA debt collection guidelines.
5. Warranty and Compliance
- All work is completed to comply with WA regulations and includes any necessary compliance certificates.
- Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied parts. We warrant our workmanship for three (3) months from the completion date. This warranty covers defects in workmanship only and not material failures or misuse.
6. Access and Responsibility
- The client is responsible for ensuring safe and legal access to the job site.
- We are not liable for delays or extra costs resulting from inaccessible or hazardous work environments.
7. Limitations of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability for breach of any statutory guarantee is limited to the re-supply of services or a refund as required under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute should be directed to us in writing. We aim to resolve all disputes in good faith. If unresolved, you may refer the matter to Consumer Protection WA.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service. The latest version will always be available on our website.
